"Teach them to your children and to their children after them." - Apparently this needed to be reiterated because it wasn't happening, or that's what I get from the need to rehash and review the Ten Commandments and the events that surrounded them. If the people has been doing their proper job of passing it on, these immediate descendants of the ones who died in the desert would have already known all this, wouldn't they?
