This portion does have a couple interesting points that I noticed, one being the way even the land gets a sabbath rest, being allowed to lay fallow to recharge. They may not have understood all the why in the chemical/nutrient cycle of soil at the time, but He did.
The other is the year of jubilee - what a grand plan, if people could have ever made it happen! Alas alack, if I remember right I don't think there's any record that it ever was, was it?
